
Joel Bradley is the Director of Community Relations for Inter-Care (a comprehensive OPC) and Inter-Care Private Services and the Community Relations Coordinator for Marworth, with the New York City Metro and Long Island areas. Joel has been in addictions and mental health fields for more than 23 years, and has held directorships and other supervisory roles in prominent mental health and substance abuse disorder agencies. One of the main objectives of Joel's work has been to provide excellent training and education for professionals and growth opportunities for the recovering community. He has coordinated many specialized conferences and seminars with a focus on the clinical aspects of addiction and it relates to race, sexual orientation,trauma and the workplace. And, he has been involved in advocacy work supporting parity, family treatment, and decrimilization of drug use and dependence. Starting on 9/11, Joel provided direct clinical support to families affected by the tragic events of the day. For many months following 9/11, he continued to coordinate CISD and trauma debriefings for labor organizations and other agenicies and companies that experienced employee losses. As a member of various professional organizations, such as EAP, NASW, and the NAADAC, Joel has chaired and has been part of many committees that provide regional and national conferences and ongoing monthly workshops. Joel has always held the vision that professionals in the field of addictions must support, embrace and encourage each other.
