Mr. Nicholas Lessa has been a leader and innovator in the field of substance abuse treatment for over 20 years.
Mr. Lessa is currently a partner and Chief Executive Officer of Inter-Care Ltd., a comprehensive alcohol and drug outpatient treatment center in New York City. He was formerly the President and managing director of NRL Resources Inc., an outpatient substance abuse treatment program he founded in 1991.
Mr. Lessa holds Master Degrees in both Social Work and Psychology and is a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor.
Mr. Lessa is recognized nationally as a Certified Motivational Interviewing Trainer having trained directly with its developers.
Mr. Lessa has recently signed a book deal with John Wiley & Sons publishers to write a guide for treating substance use disorders.
